Anonymous attacks a lot of things that they find wrong with the world: corporations, governments and other groups that they feel threaten the freedom of the people. On Friday, they attacked what may be their most controversial target yet – religion.

Interesting, to me it's always appeared to be a "push back". I don't see those they focus attention on as being any less anarchistic, at least in the sense of being 100% lawful and above board, or answerable. Where there isn't transparency, …I'm glad there are some around lifting veils.

Comment by Loren Miller on March 2, 2012 at 6:14pm A part of me is glad that Anonymous is taking on organized religion. Another part of me is disturbed at the anarchistic attitude of Anonymous, considering that they are answerable to no one and therefore feel that they can act as they see fit against anyone they care to.
As to whether this is a good thing or not, in the long view, it feels like a "push" to me.
