A NASA researcher's comments on the Keystone Pipeline:

Suncor, Syncrude, Shell, ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil are aggressively lobbying to throw a white blanket over what is known by experts as the dirtiest oil in the world. The new lobbying campaign, flush with money, is now trying to paint Alberta's oil sands as 'ethical oil'. This seems like double-speak taken from Orwell's 1984, not to mention the post-apocalyptic diesel-drenched sand pit that Alberta has become world-famous for.
