I told my kids the other day that my great great grandfather was an alien. I told them that our ancestors came to earth about 4 billion years ago on a comet. I've told them the earth is about 4.5 billion years old. My son didn't have a problem with it. He said that he suspected it for years. Now, I've read some stuff on the internet about a young earth. Any ideas?

Difficult to speak clearly with my tongue in my cheek. They understand my accent.

What rock did you crawl out from under? Religion is non-sense. It has killed more people "in the name of god" thank anything else. You probably need to ask Glen Beck what the official line is.

Oh yes. The earth is only 6 thousand years old. Two thousand between Adam and Moses, 2k between Moses and Jesus, and now 2k between Jesus and us. All the dinosaus died in the flood (or are they a trick of the devil. I never know what official policy is), radiocarbon dating and plate techtonics are a lie, and if you don't believe any of this, you're going to hell. Simple stuff, really.

WHY ARE YOU TEACHING YOUR CHILDREN BLASPHEMY?!
