Communing with Nature
Bicycling on a country road in the middle of the day,
a grey fox pads across the road in front of me.

We both pause.

For a moment, I commune with nature and enjoy this silent meeting.
Then I realize, foxes are nocturnal and this one is dying of rabies

Obedience Training
Puppies must be exposed to other dogs
in order to socialize them.

I bit a person yesterday.

From the darkness, ominous and black,
comes a noise, much like a "clack".
Suddenly another sound, a creak
Announces the mutant geek!
Who is here to steal my future years away
A fang flashes in this star-crossed day!
but I can't push back nor resist the flak
of the rabid zombie creep attack.

...but maybe I could bite him back ;)

lol...
I wouldn't mind biting you... but not as a rabid zombie creep ;)

When a nocturnal animal is sick with rabies, they tend to come out in the daytime. This is seen with foxes, bats, raccoons, etc.

I bit my great dane once (we were wrestling and he was winning)...it tasted hairy.

How did you know the fox was dying of rabies? did it bit you? did you die? did you return back as a rabid zombie creep to bite us all?
