Nilknarf Daily Haiku
imagination...
is wonderful; it allows
us to be happy.

Another beautiful day here in Kansas... it was supposed to rain all day, but there was nary a drop.

I awoke at 04:00, as usual, but today I stayed in bed and dozed off and on for almost four hours... that was kinda nice. Didn't need to worry about getting up... I love that!

Got some little stuff done around the house, and missed an appointment with my therapist, dammit. Had him written down for next week instead of this one....

I need a way to keep better track of what I'm supposed to be doing when... something fool-proof.

Yeah, I know, if something is fool-proof, the world comes up with bigger fools... I think that I might be in that cate3gory, heh.

Lana came over about 17:00 and we watched the remainder of the movie we started last night, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and then I fixed us a steak and corn-on-the-cobb; the steak was a little under-done, but the corn was excellent.

I fix the corn in the microwave, I butter, salt and pepper than and wrap them in plastic wrap except for one end and zap then for a minute or more each, depending on the size.

After supper, we watched Hancock and we thought that was pretty good. I like Will Smith.

And Lana is going out of town tomorrow but she'll be back early and hopefully I'll get to see her....

And that's the day.

I get the AP Wires through Salon... I just love that. If something is going on right then, I can turn the TV on... otherwise I can just read about it.

Like the school district in Texas that is going to allow teacher and administrators to carry concealed weapons... interesting and, from reading the story, quite justifiable.

And I can't think of anything else that I can say, heh.
