Yay for the Canadians. Hoorah to our neighbors from the North. According to the Angus Reid online poll:
58% of Canucks think humans evolved from less advanced life forms over millions of years, and 22% believe God created people in their present form within the last 10,000 years.

According to a very recent Harris-Decima poll (June? July?) 22% of Canadians do not believe in gods, and another 6% wouldn't answer the question to a pollster. Presumably those 6% haven't worked up the courage to let people know they are rejecting their parents' religion. So, over a quarter of Canadians are atheists. Now if only they would openly discuss that . . .
