Always learning, but at my age I forget most of it. Shame really.

I can't help wondering how sites like this, being available to the young, are going to change society. Will they change it fast enough to save us? Will I live long enough to see major changes?

When I say young I mean late teens into early 30s. When I was 18 I had no one to talk to about atheism. Now young atheists can connect, learn, inspire one another. They have a chance to make a difference. I do believe they will. Yes there will always be people who cling to their ridiculous beliefs but as atheists connect and grow strong, they will no longer keep us down. When no one has to be afraid to admit they are an atheist, then things will begin to change. That is what I hope this type of site will accomplish.

Nothing will change as long as parents allow their children to be brain washed at church. Organized religion will continue to thrive on thithes as long as folks are willing to prepay for Pie In The Sky When You Die......
