This is my gripe with Islam #872737663

Islam is terrified of communication - all that needs to be known is known, all answers are already answered.

An Islamisist that learned the English language -

By his own admission, Muuhammed Jafar returned home a changed man. He had studied English while in the penal colony and it had opened up a new world: "The English language he discovered is a treaure of knowledge and arts. A person not knowing English cannot be be well aware of world affairs"

Followed by -

"Under the influence of Western knowledge... Sometimes when I used to read the arguments given by atheists I felt like believing them"

From God's Terrorists

Orwell hinted at it, but it has already been here for 1000's of years. Arabic languages are as bereft of "freedom" to communicate as Orwell's Ministry of Truth.

Michael Edward Davis: The problem is more about economic inequities and the manipulation of the poor by those with interests and agenda of their own

There would be some truth to that if it were today. However, the anecdote is from north west India (now Pakistan) from over 300 years ago. So I don't really think thats a valid explanation.
