Abortion and little brothers

I just love this place because it gives me somewhere to post about what I have to deal with in my family. My brother who is younger than me by two years posted the following in his facebook along with a really gruesome picture of a bloody, fully formed baby. I posted a calm comment on it, ending in 'I love you!' but really I was nearly shaking with disgust. I would like to educate him on the subject but I doubt he would really listen. Sigh.

A government official is stressed and just needs some time to get away from the house. Every time he turns on the tv, he hears some news reporter bad-mouthing him for the way he runs his office. He walks slowly through the park with, what seems to be his only source of happiness, his 10 month old baby cradled warmly in his arms. Little does he know that a sniper is patiently waiting on a rooftop across the street. The shot is fired and he finds himself laying on the ground covered in blood... but he isn't hurt. The shooter put a bullet in the baby's head and the father can no longer recognize what he is holding. This is tragic. This is murder.

Abortion is no different. Abortion is cowardly. Many say there are specific instances when abortion is appropriate, like when a mother is raped. Does the fact that a person was raped give them the right to murder? In the eyes of God, murder (killing an innocent human being) is unacceptable no matter the circumstance. With that said, the Bible also says "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he". Meaning that a person who doesn't think it is wrong to murder, murders people in his thoughts, or allows people to be murdered ... is just as bad as murdering them yourself.

Barack Obama voted against banning partial-birth abortions, which would've turned doctors into felons. This bill would have criminalized virtually all abortion, with the exception of saving the mothers life.

He voted against prohibiting minors from crossing state lines for abortions.

He voted against notifying parents of minors who got out of state abortions.

He intends to make abortion common, without limits by law, part of our everyday lives.

How did we get so cold? Imagine how our nation looks in the eyes of God. I'm not afraid to stand strong on my beliefs, that abortion is murder. In my opinion, if you vote for Obama, you're supporting abortion... you're murdering babies.

They can put up as many gross pictures as they want.
It will not make me give up my right to with my body as I see fit.

Pro-lifers need to read Sam Harris' books. He makes some excellent points on abortion.......
