Obama's got this election wrapped up now.
He could spend the rest of this campaign just sitting at his breakfast table, sipping a cup of coffee, and posting clips about his plans for our nation on YouTube for all I care; he's the man!

I don't think her speech hurt Obama...but I sure don't think it helped either. This bailout really is a no-win situation for both parties and whoever votes 'yea' is going to have to sell it to their constituents to get re-elected. Pelosi I think, was trying to help the dems. do that. What I found fascinating was the Republicans that came out and said...well, we would have saved the country from this financial crisis but the Speaker hurt our feelings WWAAAwwaaaa...ok, I'm paraphrasing there lol But seriously, how juvenile can you get?

Did Nancy Pelosi help or hurt Obama's campaign?

Wouldn't that be great!! But alas, the bouncing poll numbers don't bear this out. Obama still has a huge fight on his hands :( ... But I suspect that after Palin's debate with Biden, Obama's led will open up...lol.

I have my doubts as well. There are a lot of ill-informed, racist, and/or religious people out there who will be voting for McCain. And let's be honest, Obama will be very limited in what he can do because of the ever growing government deficit that he will encounter. So it's going to be a pretty close race. But I appreciate your optimism.

I certainly hope so but i have my doubts. Remember people elected Bush junior twice.
