2 youtube vids I think everyone will love

The 1st one is what would happen if all of us atheist left the USA and the 2nd one is how all of us should start to look at religion. By the way I also have a myspace account and I spend I lot of my spare time on there picking on the religious bloggers(its pretty easy to pick on simple minds!!) Comment by Matt A on December 31, 2009 at 2:20am: Well, Mark, in regards to abortion having nothing to do with religion: the moral implications are not changed by the fact that creationists use skewed beliefs to reach the same conclusion. Biologically speaking, the fetus is alive, and a distinct entity.

Apply a little foresight and logic (it WILL mature into a conscious person) and you will see that an abortion is the taking of a human life. Not to say that there aren't mitigating circumstances for an abortion to be the proper course of action, however, the fact remains that the fetus is a separate life from from day one. Killing it is killing a human.

Comment by Mark Ritenour on December 30, 2009 at 8:06pm: I know that she says nothing new to us atheist, but I would like to think of her as being a cheer leader to the atheist that keep there mouth shut, dont speek up, she throws it right in your face, maybe if more of us were like that instead of keeping in the closet about it the church wouldnt be running so much of our goverment, maybe then we could be getting our word out better, the video wasnt so much to teach any of us something we alread know, its more to share with the belivers in god or the scared atheist, its time for us to stand up for our nonbelief, and as for the comment below about religion having nothing to do with abortion, well try asking the church what they think about that statement, if it was up to the catholic church every abortion clinic in the conrty would be burned down and the doctors that do them would be put to death

I really like criss's stuff though. She really presents herself well, is cute, and has an accent that makes anything she says more interesting lol

Comment by Objection on December 30, 2009 at 4:09pm: I personally see nothing wrong with Laci (then again, that's the only video I've seen of her). As the Young Turks have said, the majority of people in the United States decide largely based on their emotions, even if the reasons for believing in something is weak. They used Sarah Palin supporters as an example.
So, I actually like atheists that appeal to emotions. Not everyone is curious about the actual arguments. If they actually tried to analyze their own faiths, they'd realize that it was bullshit by then. They want to see justice done to the bad, and rewards given to the good, and they want these done supernaturally. Who wouldn't? They want to live forever, but it's wishful thinking (at least until science can find a way of achieving it :) ~ but anti-science assholes get in the way :( )
She's good public relations... to the rest, if you know what I mean.

Comment by Matt A on December 30, 2009 at 10:53am: I want to edit my post to say a genome in a favorable environment for development, as all embryos and blastocysts derived for stem cell research are gathered in an ethically acceptable way. In fact, the only legal way to get an embryo for stem cells is from left over fertilized ovums from fertilization clinics.

Comment by Matt A on December 30, 2009 at 10:50am: Abortion being right or wrong has absolutely nothing to do with religion. It is a matter of ethics, and whether or not a unique genome incubating in your uterus is a person or not. My stance is genome= person.
