Comment by Vangelis Stamatopoulos on January 27, 2011 at 6:12am My first car was British - a Leyland Marina. It cost $2k but did the job. What I would love to own one day is a Lotus Exige S. I know the series 2 have a Japanese engine but what the Brits have done to it is amazing. Great handling cars! The Brits are great with their engineering.
As for your restoration, I wish you well, it looks like a big job. A friend of mine is restoring a Ford Mustang (67 I think). He loves the big American cars with the big V8 donks. He's been working on it for over a year now but it's starting to come together now.
