Just a quick thought about the U.S. being a Christian nation
Claiming the U.S. is a Christian nation because the founders were Christian and it was founded on Christian values is like saying it's a white nation because the founders were white and it was founded on white values. The latter of the two statements is insulting to every citizen of another race and the first is insulting to everyone of another religion. It gives the impression that they are second class citizens.

The US wasn't founded by Christians or with Christian values... in fact, it was quite the opposite.
The Christians just assume that everyone they like is one of them. Whereas, most of the real movers and shakers in history had some real problems with this "god" fellow.
