It is of course, in the interest of Humanity to calculate carefully the Perils of Indifference. There is force in the saying that our society is composed of three simple categories: the killers, the victims, and the bystanders. “We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people,” Martin Luther King Jr. I am glad to see the breaking of silence on the WORD Pakistan as the symbol of religious hatred.

You may have or may not have any “business” with Pakistan. However, the same is not the case with your USA government. Do you know that USA government is doing any “business” with Pakistan? If yes; then, what is the particular, specific nature of that “business”? Why is the USA government so selective in its “business”? Is not the “business” of USA government with Pakistan your “business”? If no; then, how and why? You are a citizen of the USA, and it means you are concerned citizen. How is the religious hatred not your “business”? How the detection of the symbol of the religious hatred in WORDS is not your “business”? Of course, to do so is in your own interest. Continued..

I am glad that you have already been pleased to come to the conclusion that (1) Pakistan has “certainly” been the home to an impressive amount of religious hatred, and (2) “certainly” the nation was spawned of religious hatred and has sadly upheld that tradition. It shows that there must be “certain” facts and circumstances before you, which have led you to such conclusion. You have not shared the facts, grounds and reasons of such “certainty” of your conclusion. Be that as it may, on the basis of your “certainty” of conclusion you can see the adverse effects of “an impressive amount of religious hatred” on the name of the country too. Continued..

My dear Marshall,
Thank you for your kind concern. As the aim and object of this movement was/is to draw your kind attention to the WORD “Pakistan”; so, the same has served now. Look at the WORD “Pak” + “istan”. “Pak” means “HOLY”, and “istan” means “Abode, or Home, or Land”. Thus, the WORD Pakistan means Abode of, Home of, or Land of Holy; or the Holy Land. Now, you can see that the WORD, Pakistan, does speak for itself. What does this WORD bring to your mind? The division of this globe into two parts. It means that except Pakistan, which is just a tiny part, the entire globe is UNHOLY. It means that you are UNHOLY; and, that I am HOLY; as such we, both are at war, endless war, with each other. Now, I hope you may be pleased to detect the symbol of religious hatred in the WORD Pakistan.

I'll be honest with you, my familiarity with the sun-continent of India isn't developed to the point where I really have an opinion on this matter. Pakistan has certainly been the home to an impressive amount of religious hatred, but is the name really a symbol of religious hatred? Seriously, it may very well be, I honestly don't know. I do know that Paki is a word often used derisively and certainly the nation was spawned of religious hatred (and has sadly upheld that tradition); however I'm not sure that as a citizen of the USA it's any of my business what the name of their nation is.
