When it comes to science, so many Christians are quick to point out how scientists don’t know everything or how science gets it all wrong. They push to put their Creationist beliefs into science classes, argue against scientific research on stem-cells, and on global climate change. They just seem to hate science.

Of course, not all Christians are anti-science and but according to the last Harris Interactive Poll on this issue, over one-third of Americans support Creationism and more than half reject the well established scientific theory of evolution. Those are not small numbers.

I suspect that the vast majority of rank and file Christians distrust science simply because their televangelists and churches have been telling them to for a long time. If you place your unthinking faith in a person who claims to know God's will and he says that science has it wrong then you have to accept that. It's probably that simple.

James Bunyan got it right. The rest of them want to maintain their control.

Science = reading, study - hard. Religion = sit back and listen to someone tell you what to believe - easy.
Revel at your stupidity, take pride in your ignorance and shuffle through life in a fog - then die.

Those dunder-heads that reject science are not worth notice. Chuckle at them like you chuckle at a child who waits on Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin on Halloween.

there are 2 kinds of science haters, 1 dosnt understand it, the other dose but understands too well thatn to fleace the other mob of faithers they need to keep them ignorant and deswade them from ever understanding science, its also how they keep them religious, they keep them away from anywere were they may actualy read and understand the bible, that would most often deconvert them to atheism, sic, the bannan man, kirk cameron, pat robertson, all want to think for religious ppl not teach them to think for themselves.
