24 years...

That's how long I've been around on this earth.

It really is amazing to think that I've been around for nearly a quarter of a century now. From my perspective, this seems like a long time, but I know through my conscience that it's not (I'm currently reading Dawkins' The Ancestor's Tale, and this helps very much in putting things into perspective).

In abandoning Christianity I seem to have inadvertently rediscovered my great love of reading. But this lays now at my feet the following question:

What the hell do I do with my life? Life does not have any real meaning - we are here, and then we die - but that doesn't mean we can't have a meaning that we use for personal endeavours.

Yet again I'm at the place where the mind pulls in a thousand directions. I've been here many, many times before, but this time, I really do need to think about making a decision. I'd love to be able to just *think*, but reality doesn't work like that.
