Is the Catholic Church partially to blame for abortion and HIV/AIDS rates?

sure maybe a bit cause the church is ageist the use of birth control but i dont think its part of their grand master plan to control the population. I think they help spred it with their ignorance. But oh well if you dont listen to the freakin pope you'll go to hell duh >> (that by the way is my roll my eyes icon)

The Catholic church has enough influence on people's lives to have some role in the rates of AIDs and abortions.

Well, I was raised a Catholic, but I left the church some years ago, and since then I've never had an abortion or AIDS. So I'd say that's definite scientific proof that the Catholic church causes both...

They seem to promote the idea that if you're going to be promiscuous the absolute worst thing to do is use a condom. So yes, they are partially to blame especially in situations where they're looked to as an authority on these things.

I would say that they certainly hold the lion's share of the blame in promoting ignorance which leads to epidemics.
