Confession of a Erotic Fiction Addict

Ok, so i love to read! Not just love to, but need to, have to, must READ. I like to read things that expanded my mind like Science, History, Philosophy, and other books that make me a smarter person and a better human in general. And don't think for a second that i don't read shit loads of Sci-Fi, Horror and Suspense,...lots of fiction. I live to read.

About 7 years ago i read The story of O (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_of_O) and it blew my mind. I was so interested in this topic that i went on a binge of all and any erotica i could find. I read Anne Rice(she writes some pretty awesome erotica...no vampires though), Marques de Sade and loads of others that wrote about love, domination, submission, pain, pleasure and lust. I think at first i only had a morbid curiosity about these topics...i wanted to gorge myself on the stories that made my heart quicken (i would add "make me blush", but Im not sure if my skin tone permits as much) and my mind race. If you are not an avid reader...which most people are not...then this might sound super lame...but think on this...its like porn...that i can look at anywhere i please..without anyone knowing the thoughts and images going through my head. I equate my fascination it to that of a porn addict.

Well as the years have gone by, my wonder-lust has become kinda crazy. I actually get anxious when i am at the last chapter of one of my erotica/romance books. I get worried that i will have to go one night without some 'mental' stimulation. I buy two or three books at a time and read them all within a couple of weeks. It seems the more i read, the more i want... and of course the more i buy! I even search for short stories on the net (http://literotica.com/stories/index.php) to get me through my work day. It used to be that reading was all it took to get me off ( you guys can take that as literal or figurative *winks*). A couple of chapters and i was good to go. Now i catch myself yearning for something off the pages...something real. Its no longer enough to read the stories...i now want to be IN the stories. I wont go into details...want to keep this PG-13.

But i can say that this erotica crap has totally rotted my brain and i catch myself searching for that which is only fiction. There is no 'Nordic Viking' coming to whisk me away and ravish my body! Or some 'Dark, Dominating Overlord' coming to take me away in chains and make me his love slave (*sighs*). And unless they make a Fully Automated Dominate love doll (with accessories)...im kinda S.O.L.! And believe me i have searched. (warning: telling anyone new that you are into unsavory acts of copulation can only lead to weird looks or offers you dont want...i promise!)

I dont' really know why i decided to share this with you guys and gals, guess i am making a public service announcement against the instant addictiveness of hardcore romance and erotica...JUST SAY NO!

I wish I had more info for you, but what you long for is there, in safe, and sane environments. Being you are a beautiful female, these avenues are often free for you. Hopefully co-workers are not on this site. Well on second thought being from San Antone myself you probably dont see too many atheist around so you probably dont have co-workers on here anyway. :) be safe.........

At the base of our nature is a desire to reproduce, and it's damn near impossible to remove. At the very least, you can pile crap up around it to hide it away. And you know how two things that are too close to one another can start smelling or tasting like the other? I wonder if that's where fetishes come from?
