Well that is what blasphemy is...not belief. That is how they got the Gnostic becaue they had a belief in self and Spirit so they were convicted the second they finished inventing the God based religion. Then they thru that out and invented the Jesus based religion. Now they have both. I still believe in the Spirit powers that all humans have that the Gnostic's shared.

A good news update! Govt said to discard law on blasphemy

... the government reportedly signed off on a decree that discards the law on the execution of those who commit blasphemy. According to parliament sources, Minister of Awqaf Jamal Al-Shihab has decided to not resign after strongly supporting the law and assuring it won’t be returned.

Laws that execute people for merely criticizing a book, or a prophet's wife make that religion appear patently immoral. Would a just mother execute her child for saying, "You're wrong about that."? She'd look insane, not morally justified. So too do these governments and the religion which they endorse.
