My talk at Skepticon 5, The Shame of it All, or Why Do We Act Like Christians. A 30 min. talk on Youtube

I certainly don't want to act like Christians.
Comment by Sentient Biped on November 22, 2012 at 11:01am Darrel, where were you when I was a kid growing up in a small town midwest Baptist family? If you were, maybe, my neighbor, or my uncle, or my sunday school teacher, that would have made a world of difference! There might have been some awkward moments, but so much the better!
Great talk! Keep up the great work!
Comment by Loren Miller on November 20, 2012 at 3:03pm One of the keys to being able to be fully secular-sexual is having a partner who is equally able to do so. My first wife was anything but, which inhibited not just our sexual relationship but the relationship PERIOD. I'm happy to say that I am very open with my second wife, and that is a joy which is almost as hard to describe as it is for me to take for granted. I may not be utterly perfect with regard to the ideals expressed here, but I feel like I'm getting closer to them.
