This is from my Kindle book 2048 (Terry Stocker)

In the year 2048, aliens, calling themselves Nongdamgroveabeaders, arrive in our solar system and make brief communication with Earthlings. They have no intention of stopping at Earth. They had been to earth about 8000 years before when they were studying the universe.  Archaeologists were able to confirm this with actual ancient figurines (illustrated in the book)! The Nongdamgroveabeaders inform Earthlings that they have data on over 4000 planets with life basically as we know it. We are the only planet, they say, to have wars over religion. All other planets having war fight for resources. We are unique, they say, in our flights of fantasy about what cannot be seen. And of the 4000 planets, 22 have no warfare at all.

So how do you get to those 22 planets?  How's their weather?  Do they speak English, like the planets visited by Star Trek?  (But I guess there might be a few other problems, huh?)

It dealt with topics such as end of life care, pain relief and addressing the spiritual needs of different individuals based on their religious beliefs. There was one instance however that was decidedly unpleasant, and unfortunately really overshadowed the rest of my time in the…See More
