Why do people seek forgiveness from a higher power just for being the insignificant and imperfect beings we have evolved to be. The burden of failure weighs so heavily upon us when we fall short of so many social standards, too many in fact for any one person to fully understand or adhere to. What we fail to understand is that the only forgiveness that is worth anything is that given by ourselves. By forgiving ourselves we can set ourselves free. So.............this is me:
