Apparently, I made a mistake in having an opinion.

There are literally tens of comedians I don't find funny, and hundreds that I do..

My like or dislike is not going to make or break anyone's career- no doubt about that.

People have asked me "What are you, some kind of comedian"

Yup, some kind..I try to be the funny kind...sometimes the opinionated kind..always the unpaid keep-my-day-job kind..but mostly I am the kind that changes the subject or the landscape in the absence of laughter.

So..

I heard the Secret Service is in trouble for not being so secret...

I can't believe the Secret Service could be so stupid.  Really?  Lose your job over that?  Thinking they are the Secret Service so THEY couldn't possibly get caught.  In this day and age, seems like it's kinda hard to be secretive!  You'd think they, of all people, would know that.  Hope it was worth it, but I doubt it!

Intellectual Dishonest?

Warning Cross Post ahead:

Good Lords, where to begin? I guess I have to explain every single sentence (word) with links..

I (meaning me) am offended (that was a joke, not much actually offends me) by those (meaning people who are NOT me)

Greater Houston Skeptic Society

Meetup dot com

Reed Secular Alliance

CDBaby (Genre : Spoken Word:Comedy)

Atheist News Podcast - Episode 31

...who call this comedy.

I (again meaning me, alone) would be generous (in my OPINION) to even call this parody (definition).

It is almost as horrible (organ playing constantly, testimonials from the audience) as the real thing (actual religious services).

If you followed the previous links, I apologize for subjecting you to that.

(Ok here I should have said If you followed the previous links, looking for comedy..my bad)

Please accept this as pennance

Comedians Who are Athiests Doing Stand-Up (My idea of comedy).

OK so that done.

I apologize to Mr Roger Scott Jackson if I offended HIM.

There are lots of comedians who became HUGE without me being a fan (Kinison, O'neal, Godfrey).

I am sure my opinion of this character will in no way deter your career :).

Any others:

I think that's pretty much accounting for ALL my words.

I usually don't have to explain things in this much detail..except to the fanatics.

The mistake wasn't an opinion, it was because of trying to pass off an intellectual dishonesty.

Sometimes people just don't like getting busted slagging on others by misrepresenting them, or inventing a reason to. Kinda' funny to watch the flail though.

Unintentional funny can often be the most hilarious.
