I'm going to give this a shot. Service permitting, I'll try to post frequently through the day. Just arrived at the Metro. No sun but no rain yet as well.

I've got on a jacket, my "smile, there's no Hell" t-shirt, an umbrella, 2 packs of smokes, and an anxious smile. Was just yelled at for smoking in the Metro station - whoops. Can't wait to get down there. My first stop (after getting coffee) will be the AN booth. For now its just me, but I hope to make many new friends. I'll keep you updated...

As I mentioned in a previous post I expected to be grilled by my mother and I was. What was amazing was her total agreement that religion is playing a greater role in politics than it should be. She is supportive of the Rally. Hmm...can't say that I expected that. Maybe she is coming to understand her son's atheism.

More people should have shown up. Number one rule in organizing... Nothing draws a crowd like a crowd.

I have checked what cable news programs I receive (HLN, CSPAN, CNN) since I arose and so far not so much as a fact crawler across the bottom. Where can I find a decent livestream?
