I got the server space, looking for a team.

I have server space and the domain desktopsimians.com, I'm wondering if there are enough people willing to help put a group blog/web magazine together on skeptism and human rights.

I could use a more advanced web designer than myself, and about a half dozen writers.
It's a better alternative than blogging on your own.

I’m just looking for those first few members to jump start some ideas on how the site is built and run. A group has been started, please feel to join up and start spilling your thoughts.

I may be able to help from time to time. Have a little tech knowledge but can help with the blogs etc.

Hey guys, I'm going let this post sit a couple days and see how many we can get to bite. Afterwords, I'll be contacting you all and setting up a method where we can throw ideas around on what kind of needs people have, and what technical resources we will have at our disposal.

I'd be happy to contribute to the writing. I'm a pyrrhonic skeptic myself, though I enjoy studying myriad branches of philosophy. Holler when you're ready to get things started.

I'm a tech lead consultant for a major IT firm. 20 years dev experience. Mostly database-heavy web apps, many platforms.  Though I do mostly corporate-ish, rather than consumer-ish, pretty stuff. But maybe I can help.

The Rednecks are coming, the Rednecks are coming

Actually, the rednecks are here and everywhere. Let me say, I'm not a big fan of these people. That's putting it mildly. Need I describe them? You know who I mean. This seems to be the time of year when they come out of the woodwork. Here in Indiana, as the weather gets nice, the motorcyclists are out in full force. I hate the noise cycles make. Then there's the Indianapolis 500 fans, the majority of which are rednecks. Interview them or a typical Pacer fan (big news as they face the Miami…See More

Dennis Michael Pennington commented on matthew greenberg's blog post War on Christmas in May
"Happy Holidays is a good enough saying for anyone at Christmas time. I support the phrase "happy holidays" rather than the bullshit most Americans were taught. Let's go back in time to look at meanings here. "Holidays"…"
