Climatologists on the Run

Science writer Chet Raymo, whose daughter is a climate scientist, writes in his blog today:

I read recently that leading Australian climate scientists have been moved from place to place to protect them against threats on their lives, so deep is the wrath of climate change deniers.

round them up and toss em in jail. let them know we, as a civilized society dont put up with that kind of hateful bullshit no matter which side it may come from.

Comment by John Camilli on July 20, 2011 at 9:29am: I read an article that compared people's scientific knowledge to their concern about climate change and it was an inverse function, with the more educated persons having less concern about climate change. That suits me, I think we'll solve climate problems with technology before it becomes a problem
