To believe in, pray for and want the rapture to come (as
most Christians do) is to believe in, pray for and want the torture and death of
your fellow humans. There are many non-christians in the world and any half way
sensible person will know that they won't ALL be converted, EVER. So knowing
this and still wanting the rapture to come is SICK! What makes Christians
different from any other psychopath?
(Just thought I'd share this
thought.)

What may be even more pernicious about the fundamentalist christian mindset is that, per their leaders and holy book, they get to be JUSTIFIED in the sight of their god in HATING someone, specifically, anyone who does not agree with their belief set.  Indeed, their old testament says that such people should be stoned to death!  Granted, few such attempts are made in this day and age, but putting the idea in sheeple's heads that they are righteous and someone else is not I think contributes greatly to the whole pattern of psychopathy.

Well, they believe so strongly that all humans are sinners from the moment we're born, so in their eyes we all deserve to be killed and judged by god.  Pathetic isn't it?  A new born baby is instantly cast a sinner because of something which apparently happened 2000 years ago, but which probably didn't happen.  Urgh, religious people make my brain hurt!

haha, good point, I guess its less direct than murder though, and they would not carry it out themselves. However, I bet there are at least some who pray for it to come out of spite for others.
