Reading at the Park.
So I am breaking out of my shell in this bible belt town. I took my "Parenting Beyond Religion" book to the park to catch up on my reading. It makes me feel more ambitious and confident to talk to anyone. It also made me more observant of my surroundings.

Ya, I am a pretty new athiest and I recently moved to NC. I received a weird look when a walker was passing me and my daughter, holding Parenting Beyond Belief book. I found it entertaining. God loves us all and condemns us all too. I am not sure if they are going to try and burn me at the stake or not. haha I would hope they have more love and acceptance than tha.

it sucks that people have to feel to intimidated by bible thumping towns in which they live in. everyone from gay and lesbian youth to atheists feel the need to hide but "god" loves all this children right?
