ME: The following came to me from a friend’s distribution list. It immediately pissed me off! Normally, I let such ignorance slide so as not to rock the boat, but it was a bad day in Muddville. I replied to “all.” A move that brought several scathing letters from so-called friends that I had taken a shot at their imaginary friends. Nero fiddled while Rome burned. While considered only a rumor, the acrid aroma of rosin coming from the US House of Representatives is not. While the economy burns, the Republican led House is fiddling with "birth control."

With the rise of Evangelical Christianity in the United States a corresponding increase in finger pointing and blame claiming that the country is in moral decline accompanied it.
