Some Musings

Well, I do always like it when I get paid to work on my hobbies, which is kind of the biggest benefit of my job. I do enjoy time to relax and read and play on the internet. So, I don't really have a plan in writing this blog. I have been floating around Atheist Nexus for almost 2 weeks now. I have really enjoyed my time here and I can honestly say I haven't found a community online that has such a rich and interesting collection of discussions to participate in. Both in the forums and in the… Continue

Ah... the Christian side of my family

Well, time for another post. I am enjoying these. Alas, I have been having stuck on my mind a rather difficult situation in my head. I have mentioned before that my immediate family is almost completely atheistic. Which I find wonderful. In fact when I told my sister that I have become a bit more "militant" in my framework she called me her hero. Religion in Canada

So, I can't sleep, I woke up after a couple of hours and haven't been able to get back to sleep. So, I have decided to make a post regarding something that I found interesting while I was at work today. I was curious about the statistics of non-religious in Canada as I have recently seen several statistics from the United States. As I am Canadian I was curious what my own were. As I have heard several Americans comment that they often feel alone being Atheists as they may be the only one in… Continue

My Initial Thoughts

I honestly don't know what to write, or possibly even why I am writing this. It doesn't help that my roommate has effectively been away for over a month now, with the exception of the one night I saw him before he turned around and left again. If it was to stay with a girlfriend I would be pleased. But, the first time was to attend classes, no problem, and the second was for an out of town meeting. This has left me far too much time to think. And since I have been out of school for the last… Continue
