Which Constitution has the last say? A States or the US?

n the last week, California has seen two violations of human rights. The first being the California Supreme Court upholding Prop 8, and the other in San Diego County where a families right to assemble for a bible study has been violated. (I know Im shocked I am defending them too.. but they have that right)



So here is my question... Which Constitution has the last say? A States Constitution? or the US Constitution?

Prop 8: We still havent learned.

The ruling by the California Supreme Court on Proposition 8 goes against everything this country stands for. The fact that this even came up for a vote just proves we still have a lot to learn. WoodyBass.com

Is the Catholic Church partially to blame for abortion and HIV/AIDS rates?

Time for a lil Blog Fun: Star Wars or Star Trek

Stop it already!!

I am sick and damn tired of hearing about Miss California and Perez Hilton.



No one cared or even heard about either of them before Miss USA. Why do we care now?

Can an Atheist and any sort of Theist coexist in a lasting and loving relationship?

I have known a few couples where one is an atheist and (in most cases) the other a christian. None have lasted. I myself was in a relationship with someone that was raised to be an evangelical christian (apparently there are flavors) from Kansas. That relationship didn't work out. In fact, one of the reasons that was used to break up with me was... my views on religion and the church. That relationship coming to an end was probably best anyway.

This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.
