The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Circuit Court, presided over by Justice William Boampong has convicted a pastor for creating excessive noise during worship.



Pastor Margaret Essel, Founder and leader of the Prophetess Nyame Bekyere Church at Atonsu-Bokro in Kumasi, was sentenced to a day’s imprisonment. The court has also banned the church from operating.

According to reports reaching Nigeriafilms.com, a man named Chinedu Ugwuodo has been beaten to death by some members of St Mary's Catholic Church, Nsukka in Enugu State.
