I am quite sure you have been following my works of the free thought library, school plantations, Kasese Humanist Botanical Gardens and the past year major achievement of my school project purchasing its own land.

Kasese floods article

Dear friends on Atheist Nexus, 

I just want to share with you some news happening in my community concerning a disaster of floods that rocked the  region where all the rivers originating from Mount Rwenzori are causing destruction of life, property, farm land, breakage of bridges  and closure of Kilembe Mines Hospital.

Update about Kasese Humanist Primary School

Hey friends on Atheist Nexus, You can read out latest information about what is going on at KHPS.

We have 2 weeks towards closure of Term 1. There is development works going on at the KHPS Site whereby we are soon wiring and connecting electricity to the permanent home as we prepare ourselves for a massive construction exercise likely to kick off somewhere in March 2014 upon funds availability.

A fundraiser is going on set by Godless Poutine who is closely working hand in hand…

Latest update on the KUHA School Project

Hello my friends,

All is going on at Kasese Humanist Primary school, now in its second year of operation. We expect to have our P.7 Children sit for their Primary Leaving Examinations scheduled for 5th & 6th November.

Many thanks goes to the generous support received from organizations and individuals all over world most especially All child sponsors, The Godless Poutine, Atheist alliance International ,Swin burne University and Foundation beyond Belief.

Update about the school project

Hello my friends on Atheist Nexus, am updating you on the progress of the school project.

Normal lessons are being conducted and towards the middle of May, we received a volunteer at the school to orientate both our teachers and the students on computer skills. The program is already in progress and our students are so excited and fully committed towards attaining these skills.

The school is now in its second year of operation.

The school now runs classes from Nursery - Primary Seven.

The number of students enrolled at the school has increased from 245 at the close of last year to 331 at present in First Term 2012.

Pen Donation from Pen for kids UK arrives at Kasese Humanist Primary School

Kasese Humanist Primary School pupils on 21st February 2012 had smiles on their faces as they were supplied with Brand New Pens from Pen for Kids Organization based in the United Kingdom. The shipment of pens amounted to 4000 enclosed in 4 separate boxes with each containing a 1000 pens.

The pens were received by the School Project Director Mr Bwambale Robert  and the shipment had been sent by TNT World Express who delivered the shipment to Entebbe and later after clearance with the…

photos of the building structures at Khps to undergo renovations

Kasese United Humanist Association in its school project is going to add P.7 Class at Kasese Humanist Primary school. A fund raising or material donation drive is currently in progress with an exercise aimed at renovating more rooms provided to the school by our landlords onbehalf of Uganda Railways Corporation. The units are rented to the school at a subsidized rate.

A Ugandan Pastor visits the school and donates school supplies

On Tuesday 31st May 2011, we hosted a local pastor at the school who was moving from school to school conveying the "good news" to students, he said that he visits schools, prisons,hospitals speaking out the news to all people.

As a Humanist School we are tolerant to people's beliefs and okayed him to speak to the children. You can follow what transpired at the meeting here…

Opening date for Second Term at Kasese Humanist Primary School

The school is re-opening on 23rd May 2011.

Some simple paintings and general renovations is going on and also some of our students from Primary 4 up to Primary 6 are having holiday coaching lessons where they are studying half day. This is being done to keep the brains of our students warmed up so as to catch up with the rest of the students in other well performing schools.

Photo From Superstition to Free thought

Kasese united humanist association in its efforts to phase out belief in magic & superstition has caused major changes in the area of Railway village where a Local Church next to the vicinity of Kasese Humanist Primary School shifted to unknown location after realizing that we are just next to them, a local pastor i guess might have sensed that we are likely to question his credibility of convincing us to join his flock!!!!!!!
