I bought a bible today ....

I will explain. I am almost 35years old and my mother is 54 today, unfortunately not only is it her birthday but is also but the one year anniversary of the day we buried my father. Since then me and my mother adebate/argue about religion specifically the fact that I do not believe in the Christian God (protestant). So today I bought her a bible ....on CD.

Teaching my child to think for herself

I want to start by saying I am raising my child to be an individual giving her choice over many things in life even at her young age of 5. I am Secular Humanist and her mother is well, a blend of various eastern philosophys, and some modern day spirit crap . Needless to say we are no longer toghether but are good friends. Tolerance and respect to all

I am a Secular Humanist and I am usually very tolerant of people and their faith. I Don't argue my belief, unless someone forces me by there inability to not preach, or belittle my opinion. I guess what i am trying to say is I hate intolerance I don't generalize people because of there faith. Here is a story I read today and have been researching a bit.
