Blasphemy is a victimless crime. In fact, blasphemy is a worthwhile pursuit in support of human rights and freedoms.
The religious taboo against depicting the religious person Mohammed does not, and cannot, have any rational or ethical justification. The only way to 'justify' such a taboo is through ostracism, intimidation, coercion, force, and ultimately violence. None of these 'justifications' are valid.
