A Ugandan Pastor visits the school and donates school supplies

On Tuesday 31st May 2011, we hosted a local pastor at the school who was moving from school to school conveying the "good news" to students, he said that he visits schools, prisons,hospitals speaking out the news to all people.

As a Humanist School we are tolerant to people's beliefs and okayed him to speak to the children. You can follow what transpired at the meeting here…

Second Term at Kasese Humanist Primary School opens on 23rd May 2011

The school is re-opening for second term on 23rd May 2011

Opening date for Second Term at Kasese Humanist Primary School

The school is re-opening on 23rd May 2011.

Some simple paintings and general renovations is going on and also some of our students from Primary 4 up to Primary 6 are having holiday coaching lessons where they are studying half day. This is being done to keep the brains of our students warmed up so as to catch up with the rest of the students in other well performing schools.

Not believing in an afterlife does not mean i am a "sad' person.

I work in healthcare in a long term care facility and I deal with death on a regular basis. About a year ago the opportunity arose for me to take a palliative care course through my work.  I enjoyed it for the most part.
