MARS One! Is it wise to allow theists to be among the first people to populate Mars?

Is it really a good idea to allow theists to start a colony on Mars? I don't think it has come up yet at this early stage, but given the god delusions horrific past, can we risk starting a Mars cult or risk its destruction with mixed religions?
