Is there something wrong with people who do not use Facebook? Hardly!

Recent news stories have suggested that employers may be reluctant to hire people without a Facebook profile on the grounds that Facebook usage has become so common that not having an account is seen as somehow abnormal. This concern appears to have been compounded by a lurid report in a German…

How to Make Some Money From Your Atheist Blog

Blogs come and go, and atheist blogs are no different. However, there is one aspect of blogging on atheism, agnosticism and the whole family of faithlessness that has been bothering me for some time: how to make some money doing it? Now, anybody who has tried inserting some Google Adsense advertising on their blog or website immediately comes up against a problem – there are few if any relevant adverts. Perhaps worse than that, a lot of the advertising space has been bought by religious… Continue

The Lonely American

The Lonely American

Choosing to reconnect in the 21st century

Americans in the 21st century devote more technology to staying connected than any society in history, yet somehow the devices fail us: Studies show that we feel increasingly alone. Atheist Showdown? - Think Atheist vs Atheist Nexus

Twitter is fast becoming my early warning system when it comes to finding out about the things that I am interested in.

That’s how I found out about Think Atheist, the second Atheist networking site that I am aware of. Taking a quick look at the site it does look like an Atheist Nexus clone( in the sense that it seems to be built using the same software and has the same features).

It is sitting at around 300 members but, I have to ask why they bothered if it’s essentially… Continue

I haven't blogged much recently

I have been meaning to blog more recently, but I just don't seem to find all that much time to do it.

Here are a couple of things that I've been meaning to blog about:

1. The forthcoming atheist bus advertisements in London. Due January 2009.

And there's more… Continue
