Evolution is Unfalsifiable?

Falsifiability is very important in science; scientific theories and hypotheses can not be scientific unless they are falsifiable. When creationist finally learn this they attempt to use it to discredit the theory of evolution.

Before I tear apart the argument I should explain what falsification is and its relevance in science. If something is unfalsifiable it can not be shown to be false, if it is falsifiable is can be shown to be false. Science does not prove theories and… Continue

AC Article: Evolution: Mutations, Natural Selection, Genetic Drift and Speciation

In Evolution: The Basics I gave the basics of evolution including mutations, natural selection and speciation in this I will go into further detail about these as well as go into genetic drift

Mutations

Mutations are random changes in the sequence of the nucleotide base pares (bases for short) of DNA. The bases are adenine (A), thymine (T), guanine (G), and cytosine (C). It is these that code your genes and it is your genes that determines your inherited traits… Continue

An occasionally used creationist tactic is declaring that evolution isn’t a scientific theory but a circular argument preached with the zeal of a religion. Evolution, they say, isn’t repeatable under laboratory conditions and if it’s not repeatable, it’s not science. Can we put evolutionary mechanisms to the test and show exactly how we can reproduce them in a lab?
