What should we be doing?

One thing that occurs to me about atheism (in at least an intellectual vacuum) is a pretty simple concept that doesn't take all that much thought, at least on its own (how much time does it take to process "I don't believe in a god", really?). A lot of us (myself included) thus spend time complaining more about how dumb, mean, or the like theists are.
