Winter

The death-like frigid air

sharpens its blades upon your sputtering lungs

having burrowed its way through twin nasal cavities

it crystallizes your breaths from the inside out.

Suffocating your zephyr with its own,

upon exhale, your life visibly evaporates before you.

And so it was with us that in defense of this nipping assault

with hands split and fractured like dried up ravines

we struggled to even adjust our wooly scarves over each others chapped… Continue

Brent (my partner)

I was doing brainstorming exercises today for a piece that I'm working on and I couldn't turn off my brain. Hehe.

I was writing a mail to a friend and I lapsed into free-hand while trying to describe Brent. I decided to let it all leak out and blog that portion of it. You can notice how it turned from email to free-hand.

Update-izzle

I'm heading back to school in.....5 days.

I don't know what to do with myself...

I really don't...

I'm so smitten by this girl...she's just too much for me.

I love Kelly.

I love her so...so very much, and she loves me too. It's really more intense than any romance I've ever had in my life, and it's something I don't want to ever give up.

I don't really care if this blog isn't about atheism, or social issues; it's my blog, so I'll do whatever the hell I want with it, damnit.

There's just...such an electrical charge… Continue
