Over the past months i have posted about Pakistan for several times. Especially the blasphemy laws caused and cause much trouble in this country.
The real question however is not if there is such a law and how to get rid of it but rather if such a law is backed by the people or not.
No matter what you think about such a law, if the people themselves want such a law, if the society that resides in a country is one that causes such laws then it is not the law that poses the main… Continue
Whenever "insults" against Islam come up i hear complaints by Muslims that people don't respect their prophet, don't respect Allah and don't respect the Arabic culture (being the main classical home location of that religion).…
I mistakenly thought the term "streamline" would be related to "streaming" the slaughter to people in an audience. Me poor fool should have known better. I guess my english starts to perish after years of nonuse.
Anyway .... as disgusting as streaming would have been ... streamlining doesn't seem to be so much better.

Senior Pastor Maury Davis of Cornerstone Church, a megachurch in Madison, today condemned President Obama on his Twitter feed for being "pro-Islam." He went on to say that he "can't imagine Christ saying one good thing about any other faith."
Without pointing out the most glaring things that are wrong with this man's statements, it should be noted that Pastor Davis was convicted of first-degree…
The following is a piece I wrote for another board after a prolonged and largely fruitless discussion with a pair of young, indoctrinated theists, whose naivete not just about their beliefs and religions but how those beliefs and religions interact with our world was downright frightening. I found that I was moved to write a rebuttal to their insistent cluelessness, and have further opted to bring that post here.
To us, most of this post is intuitively obvious. Kindly… Continue
With mere days before the primary election and with early voting underway, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey is making controversial remarks about Islam. One could argue that he doesn't have a large Muslim constituency to offend, but that should not excuse a current public official from making degrading comments of questionable validity.
Ramsey was quoted by Talking Points Memo as having said, "Now, you could even argue whether being a Muslim is actually a religion, or is it…
There’s a lot of argument going on about the plan to build a community center with a mosque near Ground Zero in NYC. First of all, it’s NEAR. Not AT. An important distinction – I would oppose building any singular religious center there as people from all faiths and no faiths at all died there. It is, by virtue of what happened there, a most solemn…
