The Auto Da Fe

I was so blown away by this painting I needed to post it on my blog to try to draw attention to it.  The painting by Pedro Berruguete (1475) is truly remarkable and important because it’s sheer incontrovertible evidence of how sadistic and criminal the Christian mind is and has been in history.

no one expects the spanish inquisition!!!

not sure anyone is interested in this or not, but i stumbled across a multi-episode documentary from canada on the inquisition. it's kinda low budget, but still interesting.



the first episode is a little slow, but episode 2 and 3 are good.



it really gets me pissed off at points... torturing and killing people for nothing.
