There are people out there who think that the wold is supposed to be a nice, happy, joyful, fair and just place. It is not and it never has been. The world is a cruel unfair and unjust place. Bad things happen to good people, bad people get away with doing bad things, shit happens to every one, innocent people suffer and ass holes don't get their comeupance!

I've always been fascinated by born-agains. They usually are sad people, who live a miserable life and hate themselves. They want to make a change to their life, but never have the motivation to do it themselves. I'm an atheist who celebrates the winter holidays. My favorite day is Christmas Eve. In the evening, lights and ceremony beckoning to the sun, enticing it to come to us with the warm red of romance and the green promise of an earthy birth in spring. Christmas day is it's return on a bright dawn of promise that settles into comfort and family.
Prior to the "War On Christmas" I was never offended by the phrase, "Merry Christmas!"
