Better Democracy Idea.

I have been wondering for a few years now what democracy means. It seems to me that it has never really existed, in representative democracy we vote for our leaders but in-between the elections officials and intelligence agency personnel (the real policymakers) seem to do whatever they wish, including privatization of public services and therefore introducing economic competition and commission type incentives to areas that should be for the welfare of people rather than reducing people to…

Exhaustion

I am so tired, so exhausted, by the discussions of atheism vs religion.  Am I supposed to continue from this point in my life to the end of my existence arguing against the obvious?

God does not exist.  When I was a child, growing up and first realizing that there was a larger world outside my small town, outside my religious fellowship, that did not accept, that frankly was too sophisticated to acknowledge the existence of God...that it was this world I wanted to be a part of, that…

Neosocialism - My New Philosophy.

I have started a blog on Wordpress where I can start working on and promoting Neosocialism. The goal of Neosocialism is to develop a philosophy which combines atheism, socialism, information freedom with scientific and technological progress. The goal is to develop and implement a new vision for the future of humanity in space.

The current economic, social and government systems are inappropriate for a life in space and for the future. If we all them to proceed then humanity is doomed…

Why I Am An Ex-Christian

Ok, so of course I have to start off with why I became a christian in the first place. I was 'saved' when i was 14 at the end of June, right before my first year of high school. During my 6th and 7th grade years, I became very depressed. I had no true interest in life and in was due largely to the fact that I had no plans for my life. I didn't know what I wanted, and basically let everybody else, but myself, make my choices.

My 8th grade year, I went to a new school and was surrounded…

Dreaming About Tomorrow

During the 2008 primary, I strongly opposed Barack Obama as the candidate. I didn’t buy into his message of Change and Hope. While I voted for him in the general election, I still think that he was full of shit. As a point of fact, he hasn’t changed the healthcare system or any other policy he said he would. But today I want to talk about the Hope part and how that affects the community of reason.

Recently, Obama cut the NASA budget and scrapped the Constellation project including the… Continue

I have been so busy, but now that's over.

I have a lot of reading and blog posts to catch up on. My big project got bigger and bigger the last couple of weeks, but it will be done by sunset tonight. (My part is already finished.)

I actually felt a little depressed about it this morning. My phone has been ringing constantly and my emails have been busy. Now that the show is over everything will be quiet. That is good, but in a way it is bad. If you're lonely all the time you get used to that. If you're busy talking to people… Continue

Prophecy

Someone please tell me what good are future predictions when you can only discover them in hindsight? With all these Nostradamus and bible predictions and so on, only intense analysis can seem to match up the predictions with the events they supposedly predicted. What good is it, even if it was true? Take those things and tell people what will happen and prevent some harm, and then we can talk. But until then, I hope people put those crazy notions aside because, even if they were somehow true… Continue
