Atheists - Are we doormats?

I recently had an experience which reminded me that being an Atheist does not hold you in the neutral category. We are seen instead as ‘the enemy’ and as much as you try to exclude yourself from fanaticism, the very act of exclusion enrages believers who would declare non-belief to be a far more sinister threat than belief in something, even if that something is in direct opposition to their worldview.

My Mom Is Frustrating Me

My mom does not respect my non-belief. She insists I go to church with her because all of a sudden her 'house rule' is that "As for me and my house we worship the Lord." To make matters worse the sermon from yesterday was focused on "Bringing children up in the worship" and that you should force you children to go to church. OMFG!!!
i just about spat my drink out onto my computer monitor when i saw this one...

apparently, good little christian boys and girls get soooo turned on by an innocent hug that in order to avoid temptation they invented....
