Damon Fowler is from Bastrop, La. is an atheist and a graduating student. The small town school has always had a Christian prayer during the ceremony, a common practice that seems to be persistent. Damon, being a proud atheist, refused to bow his head in the prayer and threatened to contact the ACLU if the prayer wasn't stopped.
