Pat Robertson is Divorced From Reality

When you’re talking about the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) a good defense is apparently a good offense – and no one is more offensive than…

The World is Not Nice

Unbalanced scales of justice
There are people out there who think that the wold is supposed to be a nice, happy, joyful, fair and just place. It is not and it never has been. The world is a cruel unfair and unjust place. Bad things happen to good people, bad people get away with doing bad things, shit happens to every one, innocent people suffer and ass holes don't get their comeupance!

Topeka speech

Speaking Sunday evening in Topeka, Kansas on the subject, Religion as a
Sexually Transmitted Disease. A fun talk which draws upon much of the
material on the guilt cycle in my book plus current observations from
Anthropology and biology about human sexuality.

Religion as a Sexually Transmitted Disease

Just back from Lincoln, NE where I gave the first talk on my new lecture, "Religion as a Sexually Transmitted Disease". Seemed to go over well and create a little controversy. Parasite Theory

If you have not watched this video yet, you need to. This is mind blowing stuff. Michael DeDora of the NY City CFI sent me the link and recommended it. Both are worth watching, but the first 20 minutes will really open your mind to new possibilities in understanding religion. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9VFmiMI49Y

waiting for armageddon

Speaking of doomsday, did you know we’re living in the end times? Yeah, I know, we’ve been living in the end times during the fall of Rome, the Dark Ages, Black Death and an invasion into Spain by Muslims as well as both world wars and the Cold War. But all the disasters, wars and epidemics are nothing compared to now. The end is almost here as it’s written in the Book of Revelations. Unlike the Mayan prophecy of 2012, the belief that we are the last generation on Earth isn’t just embraced by… Continue
