Quick funny (to me) thought

On another forum I'm on there is a section for photography. Someone has been trying to take some portraits, and obviously not having much luck getting everyone to smile/look good at the same time. There has been a topic title on the forum all day today, "How many heads do I want to move?" referring, of course, to photo manipulation in order to get the portrait to look good.

So is it bad that all I can think every single time I see that thread title is the snide answer, "Well, that… Continue

My story that gives an idea how it all started, and how its going to end for us.

Transhumanism kind of to an extreme, an incredible reduction in footprint, and extreme efficiency. Its an idea anyway, and incidentally explains dark matter.

Dark Matter/Energy, Resolution of Spacetime, etc.

Warning: This is wild speculation from someone who probably doesn't know what he's talking about. Please link me to any resources that would set me straight. :)

Cliffs Notes: Could the possibility of a fundamental resolution to the universe explain dark matter/energy?

Something about the search for the nature of dark matter/energy has always bugged me. Every time I've seen the topic explored (and I admit I haven't done any really advanced reading on it), they've taken for… Continue

Because I feel like it

I'm going to start blogging whatever useless nonsense I happen to be thinking about or doing whenever I feel like it.

For instance right now, I would like to announce the following:

After Dark Horror Fest... Some of their "Films to Die For" are really, well... Not. One of three so far has been decent.

I think the worst part is they claim that they're films "so disturbing they don't make it to the box-office," or something of that nature anyway. Okay, if by "disturbing" they… Continue

waiting for armageddon

Speaking of doomsday, did you know we’re living in the end times? Yeah, I know, we’ve been living in the end times during the fall of Rome, the Dark Ages, Black Death and an invasion into Spain by Muslims as well as both world wars and the Cold War. But all the disasters, wars and epidemics are nothing compared to now. The end is almost here as it’s written in the Book of Revelations. Unlike the Mayan prophecy of 2012, the belief that we are the last generation on Earth isn’t just embraced by… Continue

I'm getting so irritated (understated)

The atrocity going on in the Gaza Strip is a prime example of the poison of religion. The death toll is now over 600 including civilians. This is all because of a disagreement of religion. They want this 'sacred' plot of land. We're talking about the massacre of children in a UN school and blatant disregard for 'collateral damage'. People are losing their homes, families and lives over this trivial medieval idea of god. I know its asking a lot but it would be nice for these blind, brainless… Continue
