National Atheist Party's Atheist Voters Campaign

The National Atheist Party is in the middle of their Atheist Voters Campaign. In a push to call awareness to a large secular voting group The National Atheist Party has been encouraging its members and atheists in general to challenge their local politicians and political candidates with the question "What will you do for atheist voters?"

The Party has gotten video response from Ron Paul,…

Campaign for 2012?

This will sound like a joke. But I'm asking everyone to consider it seriously.

We set up an organization, raise money, recruit volunteers, print buttons and bumper stickers and lawn signs and all that, organize rallies and marches, spend money on media ads if we get enough to do that. With this theme:

Ross Douthat swings and misses... twice

Ross Douthat of the Atlantic needs to rethink his line of attack when he goes after the atheist menace on his blog. Why? Because when facing people asking for empiricism and tangible evidence, focusing on probability and unconvincing recounts of things like personal experiences just doesn't work. His first instance of completely missing the point was in his invocation of the Pope in a post about the atheist bus campaign he labeled "anti-theist" in a case study of a poisoning the well… Continue

I Daresay ...

Obama's got this election wrapped up now.
He could spend the rest of this campaign just sitting at his breakfast table, sipping a cup of coffee, and posting clips about his plans for our nation on YouTube for all I care; he's the man!

Sunday, July 13

I live in Indiana. If I wear the scarlet A shirt, what will happen? We must begin to identify as atheists if we want to change things. But each individual must consider their particular circumstances before doing so. Those who feel they can must absolutely begin to say in some way to those around them: I am an atheist. As long as we are an ostracized minority our voice of reason will not be heard. That is what "they" want.
